Michael and Damian are both ...Great post, Jennifer! Michael and Damian are both pretty chilling characters, I must say. I have a YA novel I've been working on that has a character that can only be described as despicable. I've had beta readers write in the margins "Ugh! I'm having an emotional reaction to this guy!" in the first scene he shows up in. At first it was hard writing him, because he is so different in me. But it got easier.
